Graduate Student

Email: kevin.baker@beaumont.edu

Kevin Baker is a second year grad student pursuing a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering and is the Supervisor of the Orthopaedic Research Laboratories at William Beaumont Hospital. He received his B.S. in Biomedical Engineering in December '04 and an M.S. in Materials Science and Engineering in December '05 from Michigan Technological University.

The goal of Kevin's dissertation research is the development of porous, resorbable polymer nanocomposites synthesized by scCO2 processing. This research was recently awarded a grant from the Cervical Spine Research Society.
